Lukas was born and raised in the stunning, corrupt and inflation-riddled Zimbabwe. He moved to Melbourne at 16 and became a VCA and NIDA reject, before landing a spot in the budget year-long NIDA acting course, then stumbled into clowning. He's since trained under Phillip Burgers, Clare Bartholomew and Emily Goddard, rather than f**k off to France.
His debut show If You're From Africa? got 2 x Comedy Judges' Picks at Melb Fringe '24 and successfully toured to Adelaide Fringe, MICF, Pride Fest and more. Lukas' new show B48Y Crash Lands on Earth! was nominated for Best Comedy at Melb Fringe '25 and received 3 x Comedy Judges' Picks.
